DESCRIPTION:Note: Prairie Ridge will be opening at 1pm on Saturday\, May 21. \n\nThere are gnomes hiding all over Prairie Ridge! Can you find them? \nVisit Prairie Ridge for this family-friendly scavenger hunt! The gnomes will be hiding in the prairie May 5–May 28 each day we are open. When you arrive\, keep a lookout for the first gnome just past our entry kiosk. He has something to tell you: He knows which way the other gnomes have gone! Follow along for a gnome-led tour of Prairie Ridge! Dress up and come back for Gnome & Fairy Nature Adventure Day on June 4! \nBe sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, appropriate dress for the weather\, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch\, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for your smallest gnome-seekers. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!).

DESCRIPTION:Come out and play! The Nature PlaySpace will be stocked with extra special materials and supplies and a Museum play facilitator will be present to help you play your way. Supplies may vary from week to week\, but include fun things like fort-building equipment\, puppets and costumes\, bubbles\, paint\, giant blocks\, and more. \nThis is a free\, drop-in event. Staff and supplies will be available from 10:00-12:00. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get messy!
