DESCRIPTION:How were Ice Age animals adapted to live in their chilly environment? Are any Ice Age animals still alive today? How did ancient humans use their intellect to survive in the challenging climate? Join us to learn more about different cold weather critters\, past and present! Hands-on activities include a blubber demonstration and cave art crafts. \nScience Detectives – Online! is a live\, virtual program for homeschool and track-out students. It is designed to be interactive and will include hands-on activities that can be done with common household items. Registrants will receive a list of items to gather and printable resources prior to the program. The program will be conducted on Zoom and will not be recorded or available for later viewing. \nRegistration deadline: Friday\, February 18\, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. \nPlease use the links below to register your child for the appropriate program time.
