DESCRIPTION:This program is limited to 20 people and requires pre-registration. Register to attend here: https://3947.blackbaudhosting.com/3947/Intro-to-ecoEXPLORE \necoEXPLORE is a program for kids in K–8th grade that encourages them to make scientific observations in a fun way. Using smartphones or tablets\, kids can make observations that scientists can use in their own research and also earn points and prizes at the same time! \nThis program will introduce kids and parents to the program and how it all works! Come with a charged smartphone/tablet or a camera\, a water bottle\, and be dressed for a short hike. \nMake an account beforehand at www.ecoexplore.net and you can even begin making observations before this event. \nThis program will take place at Prairie Ridge Ecostation\, 1671 Gold Star Drive\, Raleigh NC 27607. It will be conducted entirely outdoors\, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Meet your leader at the entrance kiosk. \nBecause this program is child-focused\, masks are required for all participants. Thank you for helping keep our children safe! We will observe social distancing recommendations and follow all state-mandated COVID restrictions.
