SUMMARY:Museum Movie Night: House on Haunted Hill
DESCRIPTION:Join us in October for the cult classic thriller\, “House on Haunted Hill.” A millionaire with theatrical tendencies\, Stephen Price\, invites a number of people to stay in a vast creepy building that used to be an insane asylum. Stephen\, accompanied by his bitter wife\, Evelyn\, offers $10\,000 to anyone who can stay the whole night without leaving out of fear. When Stephen and Evelyn become trapped with their guests\, they quickly realize that the house really is haunted — and the spirits dwelling within are very angry.  \nWe will have a very special guest\, Dr. Christian Kammerer\, the Museum’s Research Curator of Paleontology\, as our expert to help fact check our fiction. Before the main feature begins\, AV Geek Skip Elsheimer will showcase a short film or two from the archive. Make sure to pay attention during the show\, as there will be trivia at the end! \nThis movie is intended for an adult audience. Parents and guardians should review the parent’s guide. \n\n\n\nDo you love movies? Want to know the science behind your favorite stories? Join our monthly watch party\, “Museum Movie Night: Where Science Meets the Cinema”! We encourage you to sit in your favorite chair\, enjoy your favorite snacks\, and stream alone or with your friends and family! \nREGISTER HERE \nWe’ll host experts from different science backgrounds to separate science fact from fiction after each film.
