SUMMARY:Prairie Ridge StoryWalk: Noisy Bug Sing Along
DESCRIPTION:Visit Prairie Ridge for our next StoryWalk® featuring Noisy Bug Sing Along by John Himmelman. Our story begins just inside our entry gates and will take you on a summer-friendly short trail as you sing along with a bug chorus. Can you find any bugs in the prairie as you explore? \nBe sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, appropriate dress for the weather\, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch\, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!). \nThis StoryWalk® will be available August 3 through September 4\, 2021\, each day we are open\, weather pending.  Prairie Ridge is open 9am–4pm Tuesday–Saturday; closed on Sundays and Mondays. \nWe strongly encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated for COVID-19 to continue wearing masks and practicing social distancing while visiting our facilities. \nFace coverings are recommended while near others or in the restroom building for: \n\nChildren between the ages of 5 and 12\nIndividuals who are not fully vaccinated\n\nIf you are experiencing symptoms of illness\, we ask that you postpone your visit. \nThis activity is FREE and no registration is required. \n\nThe StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier\, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.  StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
