Tools of the Scientific Trade – SOLD OUT

Join us on the third Wednesday of the month (September – February) for Curiosity Classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students. During these 1½-hour classes, we’ll delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences.

Learn the importance of scientific tools and how to use them. Experiment with a variety of tools used every day by scientists around the world, including calipers, micropipettes, scales, and more.

Details

  • Fee: $10 per participant; $7.50 member participant (plus tax).
  • Requirements: Minimum age 8 (class is geared towards upper elementary). Parents do not need to attend the class with their child, but do need to remain in the Museum.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program, or if cancellation is made in writing via email to melissa.chernick@naturalsciences.org at least two weeks prior to the program date.
