New interactive offering for children 11-13 years old: While most prehistoric programming tends to focus on the “terrible lizards,” they often forget the flat-out bizarre detours that life has taken since. In this program, we focus on the creatures that came after the dinosaurs: meet the mighty Woolly Mammoth, the gigantic sloth Eremotherium, and Ambulocetus, the great-grandmother of the whales. You’ll also get to meet our own ancestors and discover the mechanisms of evolution that have led us to where we are today!
This session comes with a kit that allows children to actively participate during the program. It includes educational objects that participants can continue to explore long after the program is over. All activities encourage the development of skills in scientific observation and thinking.
Museum pickup available!
