Join us for a look back at paleontological research in the 1890s. Learn about scientists’ competitive relationships and about the surprising ways that new discoveries about dinosaurs sometimes happened.

About our speaker

Dr. Paul D. Brinkman is the Museum’s historian of science and curator of special collections. He also teaches in the History Department at NC State University. Paul writes narrative accounts of scientific events, reconstructing what scientists did in the past and how the methods they used affected their results.
