Science Cafe: Living With Alligators

  • Thursday, September 20, 2018
  • 7:00pm - 8:30pm

What’s happening with alligator management in North Carolina? Should I run in a zigzag if chased by an alligator? Do they really taste like chicken? Join us to learn about all things ‘gator. We’ll examine the ecological importance of alligators, discuss how researchers capture alligators and track their habitat use and movement patterns, and review safety tips for observing alligators in the wild.

About our speaker
