Spring is a great time to explore nature! In this program, we’ll learn about ponds and why they are important habitats. We will visit Prairie Ridge’s pond to learn about a variety of plants, insects, and animals that call it home. Using dip nets, field guides, and other supplies we will gain new knowledge about the ecosystem of a pond and discover if it is a healthy home.
Please meet us at the Classroom where we will have a short walk to the pond. Come and see what we can find!
All ages welcome; children 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a registered adult. Come dressed for the weather. A water bottle and closed toed shoes that can get wet are recommended. Contact Chris Goforth, firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
