DESCRIPTION:Thousands of people across the US send phenology data (the timing of life cycle events) to the Nature’s Notebook citizen science project\, giving climate change researchers a wealth of data to use in their studies.  Learn about some of the major findings that have come out of the Nature’s Notebook project so far and how researchers use data from people just like you in this NC Climate Change Challenge virtual lecture by Erin Posthumus. \nThis virtual program requires pre-registration.  Register online here to receive the Zoom link to attend. \nThis program is part of the NC Climate Change Challenge\, a year-long project aiming to help people across North Carolina get involved in climate change research.  Each of the four seasons will have a focal citizen science project\, lectures\, and a forum to learn more about the local impacts of climate change on our state.  Complete the quarterly challenge to earn equipment and badges!  Learn more
