SUMMARY:Nature Journaling and Crafts
DESCRIPTION:Is your child a burgeoning artist? Do they come home from nature walks with pockets full of nature treasures? Are they eager watchers as the seasons change and animals migrate through? Let’s channel that energy into a nature journal! \nThis is a free program beginning at 1:30pm in the Outdoor Classroom. We will meet in the classroom as we set up our nature journals and learn ways to journal\, before taking a nature walk around Prairie Ridge to begin our nature journaling journey! Please come dressed for the weather and prepared to take a walk. Trails may be uneven and bumpy at times. \nPlease note that this program is intended for children of early childhood between the ages of 6 and 12\, however these ages are not hard boundaries. A nature journaling program will also be offered for kids ages 3 to 7 on November 21 from 10:30am – 11:30am.  \nIf you have questions about whether this program would be a good fit for your child\, please reach out to Kiersten at kiersten.bowser@naturalsciences.org.
