DESCRIPTION:Do you love looking at maps\, curious about how people make maps\, or wanted to make your own? Join us for a special program for ages 12+ where we learn about some of the many ways people have constructed maps throughout history and create our own maps of Prairie Ridge. Through the context of maps\, we will also learn about ways that you can contribute to collaborative science projects working to actively understand and conserve ecosystems here and around the world. We will meet at the building adjacent to the parking lot before heading down to the outdoor classroom. Come dressed for the weather and ready for about a half mile of walking. \nRegistration is required to attend this program. \nRegister
