DESCRIPTION:Note: this program was originally scheduled for Wednesday\, October 8 and was then rescheduled for Friday\, October 10.  \nIn the fall\, some birds are gearing up for migration – and this makes it a great time to spot them on their big journeys! Join us as we look for and learn about the many birds that call North Carolina home. Designed for early childhood audiences (ages 7 and under)\, this program will provide interactive observations and engagement as we learn about the birds found at Prairie Ridge\, and in your own neighborhood! \nThis is a free\, drop-in program beginning at 10:00am at the picnic tables right outside of the Nature PlaySpace. Be sure to wear appropriate clothes for the weather and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch\, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors.
