DESCRIPTION:This program has been canceled due to predicted bad weather.\n\nJoin us for a program about Honey Bees led by an NC certified beekeeper! Learn about the lives of these beloved insects – what goes on in the hive\, how they gather food\, and how we take their honey. We’ll talk about how you can support Honey Bees and other pollinators.\n\nThis program is for ages 8 and up\, families welcome. We will meet in the classroom building\, which is a short walk down the gravel path from the parking lot. It will “bee” amazing!\n\n\n“Be a Scientist” programs are specifically geared towards children ages 8 and up and their families\, helping our youth gain knowledge and experience exploring nature and conducting citizen science!
