HerpMapper: Helping Scientists is Fun!

  • Sunday, July 28, 2019
  • 2:00pm - 3:30pm

HerpMapper is a tool used by scientists around the world to monitor ranges and populations of reptile and amphibians (collectively called herptiles, or herps for short). We will be using HerpMapper during our walk to catalog as many herps as possible! Please pre-download the HerpMapper app before this class, and/or arrive with a charged device to take photos. Meet in the outdoor classroom dressed for hiking including closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and a filled water bottle.
