SUMMARY:Field Experience Fridays - Budding Ornithologists
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we dive into the wonderful world of birds! From learning the tools used by ornithologists to exploring bird identification and behavior to crafting our own bird habitats\, we’ll explore North Carolina’s birds through hands-on\, experiential learning fun! \nThis is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering grades 3–5 in fall 2024. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors\, bring a packed snack and lunch\, and be ready to have fun outside! \nThis program requires registration and costs $35 for Friends of the Museum Members and $40 for non-members.
