Fantastic Food Chains – SOLD OUT

Join us on the third Wednesday of the month (September – February) for Curiosity Classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students. During these 1½-hour classes, we’ll delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences.

Learn about the variety of plants and animals found in the North Carolina longleaf pine savanna ecosystem. Investigate food chain basics as well as the interconnections between these organisms and the environment.

Curriculum Correlation(s): 3rd grade ELA, 4.L.1, 5.L.2

Details

  • Fee: $10 per participant; $7.50 member participant (plus tax).
  • Requirements: Minimum age 8 (class is geared towards upper elementary). Parents do not need to attend the class with their child, but do need to remain in the Museum.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program, or if cancellation is made in writing via email to melissa.chernick@naturalsciences.org at least two weeks prior to the program date.
