Diversify STEM: Youth Connections

  • Saturday, November 02, 2019
  • 9:00am - 10:30am

Diversify STEM: Youth Connections is an exciting opportunity for middle and high school youth from all backgrounds to come to the Museum and hear inspirational women and minority STEM professionals speak about their careers and share their personal stories. You’ll have a chance to ask questions and learn more about each professional’s pathway into science.

Youth Connections aims to break down stereotypes about what it means to be a scientist or work in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and introduce teens to diverse role models in these fields, challenging the typical idea of what a scientist looks like. This free event is open to everyone! Registration is not required.
