SUMMARY:City Nature Challenge Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:The City Nature Challenge is an international citizen science event that encourages people to document as many wild living things in their area as possible. Join us at Prairie Ridge for a fun photographic scavenger hunt! Meet at our Outdoor Classroom to get a scavenger hunt sheet\, then head out to find and photograph as many things on the list as you can find. We’ll mail a prize to the people who checked off the most species by the end of the program! \nThis program is best suited for ages 8+\, but everyone is welcome. Please bring a phone or other camera (pre-load iNaturalist or Seek on your phone if possible!) and a water bottle. Please dress for the weather and wear close-toed shoes and long pants. We have cameras that you can borrow if you do not have your own! Head toward the Outdoor Classroom for a quick orientation upon arrival\, a short 3-5 minute walk down the gravel road.
