DESCRIPTION:Ever wonder what kinds of insects you’re seeing? Or where’s the best place to look for ladybugs? Come take a walk with us\, and we’ll learn to identify some of the insects at Prairie Ridge — and show you the best places to find some of your favorites! \nThis program is for ages 8 and up\, and families are welcome. Please dress for the weather\, and wear closed-toed shoes. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. We will meet at the entrance kiosk and begin our walk from there. \n\n“Be a Scientist” programs are specifically geared towards children ages 8 and up and their families\, helping our youth gain knowledge and experience exploring nature and conducting citizen science!
