Adaptations of Reptiles & Amphibians

  • Wednesday, September 18, 2019
  • 10:00am - 11:30am

Join us on the third Wednesday of the month (September – February) for Curiosity Classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students.  During these hour and a half classes, we’ll delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences.

Explore these two cold-blooded animal groups and discover many cool adaptations of these scaly, slippery, and often misunderstood creatures.  Students will investigate a variety of reptiles and amphibians through live animals, models, and mounts and will discover what special adaptations they have for survival.

Curriculum Correlation(s): 3rd grade ELA, 4.L.1
