Adaptations in Birds and Mammals – SOLD OUT

Using specimens from bird and mammal collections, students analyze the similarities and differences in anatomy, form, and function between these animal groups and how they are affected by environmental change. Students then develop hypotheses to account for observed patterns and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of specific adaptations.

Details

  • Fee: $10 per participant; $7.50 member participant (plus tax).
  • Requirements: Minimum age 11 years old. Parents do not need to attend the lab with their child but do need to remain in the Museum.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program, or if cancellation is made in writing via email to melissa.chernick@naturalsciences.org at least two weeks prior to the program date.
