Explore the rapidly growing field of 3D modeling and printing in this two-part beginner’s level series that will teach you the basics of 3D design, modeling, and printing. During the first part, you will be introduced to 3D design and modeling while you create at least two small 3D models of your own. In the second part you will learn about how 3D printers work and watch one in action. Your custom models will be printed out before the second part of the series for you to take home your own 3D printed objects.
Note: Parents do not need to attend the lab with their child but do need to remain in the Museum.
This is a two-part series:
Part 1: Thursday, January 9 @ 1:30pm
Part 2: Thursday, January 16 @ 1:30pm
