$15 ($10 for Friends of the Museum and Wake Audubon members)

The Uwharrie Mountains are not the most impressive mountains in elevation but they are in age and geologic/natural history.  We will explore rich grassland and forest sites in the Uwharries looking for evidence of its geologic history while we look for birds and other animals. Although the sparrows may appear dull, the trees are usually quite nice at this time.

Registration information: Registration required. Fill out online, print and mail the Museum’s Registration Form and Health Form with payment. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.
