Could you survive if you were lost in the woods? You bet! Learn to navigate by the stars, tell time with the sun, and build your own compass.  Search for edible plants, find out what kind of bugs make a good snack, and make a survival shelter. Put your fire building skills to the test as we cook dinner using utensils you made by hand and spend Thursday night under the stars.

Prairie Ridge Ecostation is located off Reedy Creek Road, close to Blue Ridge Road and the NC Museum of Art.  All children must be dropped off and picked up at Prairie Ridge.  No transportation is available between the Museum and Prairie Ridge Ecostation.
