Some conditions in the unborn baby can cause complications during the pregnancy.  In addition, we now have the ability to treat some conditions, such as spina bifida, before birth to reduce the long-term complications of the condition.  We will discuss what conditions are amenable to in utero treatment and how this treatment is done.

Science Saturday programs, held in Windows on the World Theater on the first Saturday of every month, highlight the vast world of scientific research and allow attendees to interact with experts in a variety of scientific fields. All are welcome to attend.
