Join us at Prairie Ridge to learn about the furry animals that you might see at night!  In this evening program, we'll teach you about some of the ongoing mammal research at Prairie Ridge, how to identify several common nighttime mammal species, and take a hike to look for deer, foxes, and other animals that are out and about in the dark.  Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a flashlight or headlamp.  If it's buggy out, bug spray is also recommended.

For more information or to register, please contact Chris Goforth at chris.goforth@naturalsciences.org or 919.707.8882.

This program will teach you about biodiversity of mammals in North Carolina and is a great supplement to our Rainforest Adventure special exhibit!
