Mountain Birding Weekend
Wear your hiking boots and bring your binoculars for a weekend of birding in the northern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina with the Museum's research staff. We will visit Moses Cone and Julian Price National Parks, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Snake and Rich Mountain area of Boone, and other areas as time permits. For birders of all levels, brush up on your birding skills as we explore some beautiful mountain habitats.
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate

Registration information: Registration required. Fill out online, print and mail the Museum’s Registration Form and Health Form with payment. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline. Fee covers travel and instruction. Participants pay for meals & lodging
