Meet National Geographic explorer Mark Moffett (aka “Dr. Bugs”)

Museum now offers two opportunities to meet Dr Bugs tonight
Come meet adventurer and photographer Mark Moffett (aka Dr. Bugs), a man who has written more than 20 articles for, and provided nearly 500 pictures to, National Geographic magazine. Moffett has also been interviewed on “Conan O'Brien,” “The Colbert Report” and NPR, and is the author of the book “Adventures Among Ants,” in which he chronicles his adventures with ants around the world, and gives the reader detailed science about the parallels between ants and humans.
Moffett is making two appearances in the Nature Research Center:
Thursday, September 13 at 6pm in the Daily Planet Theater
Come hear Moffett’s presentation “Ants in your Pants” and view some of his amazing photographs.
Thursday, September 13 at 7pm in the Daily Planet Café
Come enjoy a live interview of Moffett by science comedian Brian Malow.
Part of the "A Taste of Science" series every Thursday night at 7pm in the Daily Planet Café.
Don’t miss BugFest, the Museum’s largest special event, happening this Saturday, September 15, 9am-7pm. And it’s free!
