REGISTRAION IS REQUIRED, space is limited. Ages 5+, though children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Wear closed-toed shoes, bring a water bottle and be prepared for a walk over uneven surfaces. Bring shoes that could get wet/muddy. No dogs allowed.

As trees mature, die and tumble to the ground, the decaying logs harbor amphibians, insects and other types of creatures. Join  us for a hike down Francis L Liles Trail as we search the woods for decomposing trees and learn about the animals that call them home.

Meet at the Carl Alwin Schenck Memorial Forest entrance gate off of Reedy Creek Rd and park along the road. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes for this program. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and space is limited.
