Minimum age 12. Minors aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult and the adult-child pair will work together as a team. (Adult-child pairs pay one participant fee.)
Location: Nature Research Center - Natural World Investigate Lab - 2nd floor
$15 per participant. $10 for Friends of the Museum

Learn how to establish an insect collection. This beginner's class will cover the basics of insect collecting and the methods of pinning different types of insects, from beetles to butterflies!

Insect pins, Styrofoam boards, spreading boards, and insects will be provided.  You may bring your own specimens to pin, too!
