Come be a scientist by joining our AmeriCorps Citizen Science Educator on a hunt to collect data on "herps" — reptiles and amphibians — at Prairie Ridge!  We will walk over uneven terrain while searching our cover boards and frog pipes for the herps all around us. No need to be an expert to help out!

We’ll begin our hunt at the Prairie Ridge kiosk near the parking lot. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes for this program. Water and sunscreen and recommended.  Contact Mandy Cuskelly at mandy.cuskelly@naturalsciences.org or 919.707.9934 with questions.

In case of inclement weather the day of the program, call the Prairie Ridge weather line at 919.707.8888, option 5, for information about possible cancellations.
