Requirements: 
Minimum age 12. Minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Location: In the Field - Meet at Prairie Ridge, travel by Museum bus to field sites.
Fee: 
$50 ($40 for Friends of the Museum).Fee covers travel & instruction. Participants pay for lodging and meals.

Immerse yourself in the mysteries of Lake Waccamaw, one of our largest and most unique natural lakes. Hike through the longleaf pine savannas of the Green Swamp in search of venus flytraps, pitcher plants, orchids and other rare plants found in these unique wetland habitats.

Registration information: Registration required. Fill out online, print and mail the Museum’s Registration Form and Health Form with payment. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.
