Enjoy light fare plus beer and wine from the Acro Café, shop at the Museum Store, enjoy the Nature Art Gallery, groove to live music and stroll through fabulous exhibits. At 7 pm, catch a free cult classic at The Natural Horror Picture Show.

Event - Don’t be a recluse, come join us at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on Friday, September 3 at 7 pm for a secret and suspenseful spider flick chock full of hirsute arachnids. Plus, enjoy biting commentary and a cluster of urticating shorts from the A/V Geeks archive.
BugFest 2010

Event - Jones Street, The Plaza, Edenton Street, and all four floors of the Museum will be filled with buggy fun. This year’s theme is arthropods and aquatic bugs!
Take a Child Outside at Prairie Ridge

Event - Come to Prairie Ridge and venture out with naturalists to explore a variety of habitats including a piedmont prairie, an arboretum and a pond-all right here within the city limits!
