We are combining our love of nature and art in this camp.  We will use the beautiful scenery at Yates Mill Pond County Park to inspire you.  Enhance your drawing and painting skills as we study and observe the world around us. Bob Palmatier, local artist, researcher, and environmental educator will guide you through the world of shadow and light. Students will receive an art kit worth over $40.00 that they will use during the class and take home.

Yates Mill Pond County Park is located south of Raleigh near Penny Road and Lake Wheeler Road.  All children must be dropped off and picked up at Yates Mill Pond County Park. Transportation is not available from the Museum to Yates Mill Pond.
