Location: In the Field - Various sites on the Outer Banks, NC
Fee: 
$170 (includes transporation, lodging and some meals)

Travel from Corolla to Cape Hatteras and explore the geology and ecology of barrier island habitats from beaches to maritime forests. Enjoy the first hints of fall as we visit national seashores and wildlife refuges.

Get credit!

Participants receive a certificate for CEUs and credit for North Carolina's Environmental Education Certification Program.

 Educator Trek Registration Form (PDF) – Complete, print and mail this form to register for Educator Treks. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and/or mailed receipt. Workshop details will be sent via email one to two weeks prior to the workshop.

*This program is restricted to educators: classroom teachers and assistants (any grade/subject), administrators, pre-service or substitute teachers; non-formal educators such as park and nature center staff & volunteers; anyone working on their NC Environmental Education certification.
