Educator Trek: Caterpillarology
Caterpillars are a great learning resource for students of all ages. From life cycles to food webs to ecosystems, caterpillars provide an interesting and accesible subject. Join us in the field and classroom as we learn how to locate and identify common North Carolina caterpillars, how to raise caterpillars and which plants to add to your garden to attract common species.
Participants receive a certificate for CEUs and credit for North Carolina's Environmental Education Certification Program.
