Have you ever wondered how bats communicate, hunt, and pollinate flowers in the dark?  Join us for Bat Detectives and find out!  With the help of local expert Nick Dowdy, search for bats with bat detectors along the Prairie Ridge trails, learn about our local bat species, discover how moths have learned to avoid being eaten by bats, and how you can help scientists learn more about bat sounds right from your own home.  Dress for the weather, bring a flashlight, and get ready for a nighttime bat adventure at Prairie Ridge!  Contact Chris Goforth at 919.707.8882 or chris.goforth@naturalsciences.org for more information or to register.
