Alligator River/Outer Banks Adventure
Join us for our weekend exploration of the 154,000 acre Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in eastern North Carolina. We will ride through the refuge and other natural areas on the museum bus with frequent stops to look for birds and other wildlife. Some stops will include short to moderate walks along trails. Black bears are commonly spotted in this area. We will also explore some natural areas on the Outer Banks.

Registration information: Registration required. Fill out online, print and mail the Museum’s Registration Form and Health Form with payment. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.
