Alligator River Adventure
Join us for our two-day, one-night exploration of the 154,000 acre Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in eastern North Carolina. We will be looking for birds and other wildlife found in the area. Black Bear are commonly encountered and we may even hear the howl of Red Wolves at night.
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate
Leaders: Jerry Reynolds, Museum educator and Jeff Beane, Museum researcher
Registration information: Registration required. Print, fill out and mail the Museum’s Registration Form along with payment. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.
