This field class emphasizes finding, identifying and learning about the many plants and animals inhabiting Yates Mill Pond. We'll meet live animals, experiment with plants and play ecology games.

Yates Mill Pond is located south of downtown Raleigh near the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and Penny Road. All children must be dropped off and picked up at Yates Mill Pond. Transportation is not available to or from the Museum and Yates Mill Pond.
