Students will learn what causes weather through hands-on experiments with temperature, humidity, freezing points and reflectivity of various earth surfaces. By studying cooling rates and pressure changes in an air mass we will use simple calculations to predict the weather from one side of a mountain to the other. Exciting class demonstrations include cloud formation and the creation of thermals This program will be held in the Natural World Investigate Lab .
