The Auditorium is used as a multi-function space for live science programs and high definition films, shown on a 22-foot HDTV screen.

Coastal North Carolina

Two stories high and half a block long, the Coastal North Carolina exhibit hall is home to North Carolina's entire ocean spectrum: from whales to wetlands, seahorses to sargassum.

The Museum Store [10] offers a great assortment of nature and science-related books, videos, gems, jewelry, natural science kits, educational toys and more. The Nature Gallery [11] features original nature-themed art for sale.
