Ever wondered how scientists learn about the movements of animals? Come track one of our Eastern Box Turtles and find out! We’ll show you how scientists use radio tracking equipment to follow animals through nature and share what we’ve learned about our turtles since we started tracking them.
Participants must be able to walk over a mile of uneven or steep terrain. Children 8-15 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Please bring water, dress for the weather, and wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet. We’ll likely cross the creek!
