An Evening of Science Comedy for the North Carolina Science Festival 
Science comedy fans, unite for an evening of fun at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences! From the lighter side of helium to the darker side of the moon, join science comedian Brian Malow on a rocket ride through the humorverse. Brian will dispel myths and misconceptions about science and scientists, explore the science in science fiction films, and exercise your brain as well as your funny bone. About Our Presenter
You may know him as the host and emcee of our Thursday night science cafes, or as the Curator of the SECU Daily Planet, but Brian Malow is also known as Earth's Premier Science Comedian (self-proclaimed). Featured on NPR's "Science Friday," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," and "The State of Things," Brian has performed for the NSF, AAAS, NIST, JPL, ACS and many other acronyms, as well as Apple, Dell, and Microsoft. He has produced science videos for Time Magazine and audio essays for Neil deGrasse Tyson's radio show, and worked as a consultant for NASA educational outreach projects. Brian currently writes a blog for Scientific American and is co-host of “Hacking the Planet" and "The Truth About Twisters" on The Weather Channel.
