Welcome to the world of Chemistry! Liquids mysteriously changing colors, weird smells, and explosions (controlled of course), are all part of this exciting four-part series. However, to understand the entertaining aspects of chemistry, students need to learn the basics: Atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonds, acids and bases, precise measuring and chemical equations. These are the underpinnings of chemistry. In this four part series, we will ease into these concepts by balancing fun experiments with the important basics of chemistry.
Note: Parents do not need to attend the lab with their child but do need to remain in the museum.
