Science Cafe: The Physical Fitness of Leaves [2]

Join retired Duke professor Steven Vogel for a look at how a leaf manages its world, and what this tells us about how we manage — or ought to manage — our own. Vogel will sign/sell copies of his book “Life of a Leaf” after the program.

Nature Drawing [3]

In this class, we'll learn how to use illustration and art to explore a wide range of natural life, from creatures that live in your backyard to animals that live in the canopies of the rainforest. No experience is required as we'll be going over basic illustration techniques and observational skills. More information [3]
