Volunteers assist in maintaining outdoor learning spaces at Prairie Ridge Ecostation, the Museum’s field station located in west Raleigh. Projects may include managing the bird feeding area, preparing garden beds, planting native plants and removing invasive plants.  More about Prairie Ridge Ecostation [2]

Time commitment: three-hour shifts 2–3 times per month on Wednesday mornings
Training: Museum/Prairie Ridge orientation session and on-the-job training
