Bob began working with the museum in 1995.  His focus, over the years, has been science education for public audiences, with the development of programs, workshops and classes for a variety of ages and abilities. Bob was awarded the Outstanding Informal Educator of the Year award in 2011, by the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Institute of North Carolina.

His interests include kayaking, biking, camping, history and education.
